Zelensky in Berlin: during war, Ukraine not only asks for help but offers joint weapons production
The head of state announced this during his speech at the closing of the German-Ukrainian Economic Forum in Berlin, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
"It is very important that Ukraine, at a time of war, not only asks for help and support, but also offers joint projects, joint production, and joint results that can strengthen both us and you. Of course, this primarily concerns defense production, and we are doing our utmost to ensure that our defense technologies are ahead of the curve and deliver results for our soldiers on the battlefield," Zelensky said.
He noted that one of the first offices to be opened in Berlin will be engaged in arms exports and joint production projects with Germany.
“Germany is one of our largest trading partners in Europe, and will remain so in the future. And this is one of the key tasks of our government - to attract more companies and more contracts with Germany,” Zelensky emphasized in his speech to businessmen.
As reported earlier, Zelensky said that this year Ukraine will open two representative offices for the sale of surplus weapons produced under co-production agreements in Berlin and Copenhagen.
