Russians attack Ukraine’s gas infrastructure again – Naftogaz

Gas production and storage facilities in Ukraine came under attack by enemy drones on December 1–2; damage has been recorded, and company specialists are prepared to begin repairs immediately.

According to Ukrinform, Naftogaz Group reported this.

“At night of 1 December 2025 and the next morning of 2 December 2025, Russian drones attacked the civilian gas infrastructure facilities supplying gas to Ukrainians,” the statement reads.

The company noted that no employees were injured. However, destruction has been recorded.

“The company’s operational services and specialists have been working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Immediately after receiving permission from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Naftogaz’s teams will begin restoration works,” said Naftogaz’s CEO Serhii Koretskyi.

As reported earlier, an energy facility in Odesa region was damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the night of December 2, and critical infrastructure is temporarily operating on generators.
