Power outages reported in several regions of Ukraine following new attacks on energy infrastructure
The information was reported by NPC Ukrenergo on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.
“Over the past 24 hours, the enemy continued to target energy facilities. As a result, there are local outages in several regions as of this morning. Regional repair crews are carrying out restoration work wherever the security situation permits,” the statement reads.
Due to previous large-scale missile and drone attacks, all regions of Ukraine are required to implement usage-restriction measures today, including scheduled hourly outages ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 rounds, as well as power-limitation schedules for industrial customers and enterprises. Thanks to the completion of emergency restoration efforts, the overall duration of forced outages has been reduced in most regions.
Electricity usage remains consistently high. Today, November 27, as of 09:30, the usage level matched that of the same time the previous day, Wednesday.
Yesterday, November 26, the daily usage peak was recorded in the evening. It was 1.6% higher than the peak of the previous day, Tuesday, November 25, due to the application of fewer restriction measures.
The need for economical energy usage remains.
As reported by Ukrinform, electricity usage will be restricted across all regions of Ukraine on Thursday, November 27, with schedules for all customers in effect from 00:00 to 23:59.
