Support for Ukraine's energy infrastructure will be among the key topics at the G7 energy ministers' meeting taking place in Toronto this week.

Canada's Ministry of Natural Resources announced this on its website, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Canada is advancing the following energy objectives by continuing unwavering support for Ukraine as it faces an energy crisis brought on by Russia's targeted attacks on natural gas and nuclear infrastructure," the statement read.

The summit will also address issues such as the extraction of critical minerals, accelerating the transition to clean energy, enhancing energy security, and other related topics.
