Russia launches massive attack on energy facilities in four regions — Svyrydenko
According to Ukrinform, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported this on Telegram.
“Last night, Russia once again launched a massive missile and drone attack against the people of Ukraine — targeting our energy facilities and other civilian areas. Many were injured, including children. The strikes hit the Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions,” Svyrydenko wrote.
In Boryspil, residential buildings were damaged, cars were burned, and one person was injured.
In Zaporizhzhia, the enemy struck a dormitory and infrastructure facilities. Eleven people were injured, including six children aged between three and six.
“Russia continues its systematic terror, striking at the lives, dignity, and warmth of Ukrainians on the eve of winter. Its goal is to plunge Ukraine into darkness. Ours is to preserve the light,” Svyrydenko emphasized.
She noted that stopping the terror requires more air defense systems, tougher sanctions, and maximum pressure on the aggressor.
“Ukraine is doing everything to protect its people. The world must do everything to stop Russia,” Svyrydenko stressed.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces attacked DTEK’s thermal power plants in several regions of Ukraine, causing serious equipment damage.
