Gas production suspended in Poltava region following Russian attack

On the night of October 16, Russian forces attacked Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, halting operations at gas production facilities in the Poltava region.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by DTEK Group via Telegram.

“During the night, the enemy once again attacked DTEK Naftogaz’s energy infrastructure using drones and missiles. As a result, gas production operations in the Poltava region were halted,” the statement said.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, on October 12, two DTEK employees were injured and hospitalized following a Russian strike on a substation in the Boryspil district of Kyiv region.
