Starting today, all citizens whose housing has been slightly damaged as a result of Russia's armed aggression and has not yet been repaired will be able to use the eVidnovnennya service to receive state aid to restore their homes. First of all, it is about replacing windows or doors, repairing roofs, etc.

The Ministry of Community Development reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Within the framework of eVidnovnennya, we will focus on the restoration of residential buildings that have minor damage. To make it possible to do this as soon as possible, the eVidnovnennya service has been digitized and simplified for citizens as much as possible. You can apply for assistance in Diia in a few clicks, and within a month a special commission under the community should make a decision on providing such assistance," commented Oleksandr Kubrakov, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure.

It is noted that the compensation can be used within 1 year from the date of its accrual.

"We are planning to launch a compensation mechanism for destroyed housing, as provided for by Law No. 2923. We expect that by the end of this year thousands of Ukrainians will be able to buy new housing," Kubrakov added.

As reported earlier, on April 21, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a procedure for providing state aid for the repair of damaged housing. It provides for the provision of state aid to citizens whose housing was damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation for the current repair of housing. This will be done through the eVidnovnennya electronic service.
