Average salary in Ukraine grows by 6% in 2022 - statistics service

The average monthly salary in Ukraine amounted to UAH 14,859 in 2022, which is 6% higher than a year earlier.

This is evidenced by quarterly data released by the State Statistics Service, Ukrinform reports.

Thus, the average monthly salary increased by 6.1% in 2022 compared to 2021 - from UAH 14,016 to UAH 14,859.

In Q4 2022, the average monthly salary reached the highest level - UAH 16,477.

The highest average salaries last year were recorded in the field of information technologies and the financial sector - UAH 30,853 and UAH 27,969, respectively.

Employees providing postal and courier services received the lowest salaries - UAH 8,598.

As reported, 64% of Ukrainian employers did not raise salaries for their employees in 2022. Moreover, 42% of them do not plan to do this in 2023 either.
