Ukraine’s energy system has been operating with no capacity deficit for 18 days now.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrenergo National Power Company on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The country’s electricity needs are fully covered by the production capacities of Ukrainian power plants and a small amount of imports from Europe. Over 4.5 months, 255 missiles and drones have hit the energy infrastructure. 214 of them struck Ukrenergo’s high-voltage grid objects. The reason for the absence of a deficit now is the professional work of power engineers, who had managed to restore the functionality of the energy system and power plants within a few months,” the report states.

According to Ukrenergo, all types of power plants and hydro power plants are running now. Seasonally, the production output of electricity from renewable energy sources continues to increase.

There are no power supply restrictions for household consumers across regions now. However, if there are any changes in the energy situation and consumption volumes rapidly increase, power outages may be introduced, Ukrenergo added.
