Zelensky says new agreements reached to help Ukrainian energy workers

Ukrinform
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that following his visit to the United States, new agreements were reached regarding assistance to the Ukrainian energy industry.

He said this in a new video address, commenting on the results of his visit to the United States of America.

In particular, Zelensky recalled that today is the professional holiday of energy workers -- "people who give us normality, modernity and exactly the level of well-being that the terrorist state wants to destroy."

"Today is the Day of Energy Workers. I congratulate all of you, defenders of the Ukrainian light, and thank you for your work. We also bring new agreements to help you!" he said.

Since October 10, Russia has been carrying out massive missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, leading to a significant shortage of power in the power supply system and planned and emergency power outages being applied.

Zelensky on December 21 visited the United States where he met with U.S. President Joe Biden and delivered an address to Congress.
