Russian massive missile attacks have caused damage to high-voltage power substations, combined heat and power plants (CHPP) all over Ukraine. Blackouts are taking place across nearly all regions.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Today Russian terrorists have once again demonstrated their so-called desire to hold talks. Another massive missile attack took place during the G20 Summit. The occupiers again attacked Ukraine’s energy system. High-voltage power substations, combined heat and power plants were hit,” Shmyhal wrote.

In his words, emergency blackout schedules are now in effect in central and eastern Ukraine. Special emergency blackout schedules are applied in the city of Kyiv.

Additionally, Shmyhal thanked the Ukrainian military, who had shot down 70 out of over 90 Russian missiles.

“We are working, and will restore everything,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine added.

A reminder that, on November 15, 2022, Russia launched another massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. Infrastructure objects and residential houses were struck.
