IMF appoints new Ukraine mission chief

Gavin Gray will replace Ivanna Vladkova Hollar as the head of the International Monetary Fund mission for Ukraine on September 20.

As Bloomberg reports, Gray replaces Ivanna Vladkova Hollar, who is moving to another position at the IMF after serving as Ukraine mission chief since May 2020.

Gavin Gray served as Iraq mission chief from 2018 to 2020.

As reported, the International Monetary Fund allocated $1.4 billion in additional support to Ukraine. The Government hopes for a new program of cooperation with the IMF. The Cabinet of Ministers plans that Ukraine will be able to attract $12 billion from the IMF and the EU each and $18 billion from the United States in 2023.
