The Ukrainian Government plans to receive up to $16 billion from its international partners in 2022.

That’s according to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Ukrinform reported, referring to the government portal.

Shmyhal noted that Ukraine had already received from its allies more than $14 billion in external financing.

"At the same time, we are discussing the possibility of launching a new major program with the International Monetary Fund. Also, more than $5 billion will be saved for the budget and Ukrainian citizens thanks to the successful negotiations that the government conducted with external creditors. Ukraine has postponed the payment on foreign debt until at least 2024," Shmyhal said.
