Local budgets’ revenues in 2022 projected at 437B

Revenues of local budgets in 2022 are projected at UAH 437 billion, an increase of UAH 87 billion compared to the previous year.

"If we talk about the state support, which is currently stipulated in the state budget, then we project about UAH 437 billion in revenues of local budgets in 2022, showing an increase of UAH 87 billion compared to the previous year. One of the reasons is a 4% increase in personal income tax,” Deputy Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda said at the presentation on the assessment of financial management in 25 communities, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to him, the state budget of Ukraine for 2022 stipulates more than UAH 131 billion for the development of territories and community infrastructure. It is planned that this state financial support will be channeled into regional development, rural development, including support for agricultural producers, development in the areas of healthcare, education, culture, sports and road infrastructure. The funds will also be used to upgrade transport infrastructure, social security, housing construction, and other areas of territorial development.
