Industrial park with five production facilities to be set up in Kharkiv region

An industrial park with five chemical industry facilities and a waste sorting line will be set up in Kharkiv region.

“The Valky Town Council initiates the creation of the ‘Land and Water’ industrial park with a total area of ​​23 ha. To this end, an investment project to build a waste sorting line and plants for the production of biogas, methanol, biodiesel, acetic acid with an estimated cost of more than $30 million was drafted,” Petro Lashyn, director of the Economy and International Relations Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, announced during the Administration’s meeting on January 10, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to the Valky territorial community data, the industrial park will consist of 25 buildings of various functional purposes (five industrial facilities and two warehouses). The park is expected to create 500 jobs.

The Kharkiv Regional State Administration informs that the project has already been presented to potential investors, in particular, ORMAK Turkish company.

So far, no industrial park projects have been implemented in Kharkiv region.

As reported, in September 2021, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Industrial Parks" aimed at attracting investment.
