This year, privatization revenues of the state budget amounted to UAH 5.07 billion (nearly $185,8 million).

That’s according to the State Property Fund’s press service, Ukrinform reports.

"As of today, UAH 5.07 billion has already been transferred to the state budget off of the sale of state-owned assets, as per the SPF’s operational data," the statement reads.

Head of the State Property Fund, Dmytro Sennychenko says this is a historical high in terms of privatization proceeds, which is the result of the implementation of transparency and openness principles in privatization processes.

"The State Property Fund has done a high-quality job, thanks to which in 2021 the budget received more than UAH 5 billion. This means that as our team worked throughout 2020 and 2021, more was received off privatization than in the previous seven years combined," Sennychenko added.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, this year the government intends to attract to the country’s coffers UAH 12 billion at the auctions where large and small-sized state-owned assets will be sold.
