Sales of new commercial vehicles in Ukraine grew significantly in Nov 2021

In November 2021, 1,429 new commercial vehicles were purchased and registered on the Ukrainian market, which is 1.5 times higher compared with the relevant period last year, according to the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Ukrautoprom).

Citroen vehicles had the largest demand in November 2021. Ukrainians purchased 272 commercial vehicles of this brand, which is almost three times higher compared with November 2020.

The second in terms of sales was Renault (234 vehicles registered in November 2021; up 8%). Fiat ranked third (166 vehicles registered; grew by one third). In the fourth place was Peugeot (133 vehicles registered; up 6%). The MAZ brand took the fifth place (88 vehicles registered; up 56%).

In total, 14,000 new commercial vehicles have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the year. Thus, compared to the same period last year, the demand for new commercial vehicles in Ukraine grew by 40.5%.

As Ukrinform reported, in November 2020, 980 new commercial vehicles (trucks and special vehicles) were purchased and registered in Ukraine, which is 3% less compared with November 2019.
