Naftogaz doubled payments to budget in Q3 2021

In July-September 2021, Naftogaz Group paid UAH 28.4 billion in taxes to the state budget, which is 2.3 times more than in the third quarter of 2020, Ukrinform reports referring to the press service of Naftogaz.
“Naftogaz Group (NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and companies controlled by Naftogaz) paid UAH 28.4 billion in taxes to the state budget of Ukraine in the third quarter of 2021. For the same period in 2020, this amount came to UAH 12.3 billion, which is more than twice less,” reads the report.
It is noted that Naftogaz did not receive subsidies from the state budget over the reporting period. The company also refuted the information that with the change in corporate governance, Naftogaz allegedly ceased to be a donor to the state budget.
As reported, in July-September 2021, Naftogaz of Ukraine received UAH 2.5 billion in profit.
