Ukrainian electric vehicle market shrinks by 20% in February - Ukrautoprom
Some 55 new electric vehicles were purchased last month, so the share of new vehicles in the overall market structure rose to 10%, while in February 2020 it was 4%, the report said.
Most electric vehicles registered last month included passenger cars - 51 new cars and 459 used cars. Compared to last year, the number of electric cars registered in February 2021 decreased by 18%.
The most popular electric car in February was the Chevrolet Bolt, with 132 cars registered last month. In second place was the Nissan Leaf, with 129 electric cars registered in February 2021. The third place went to the Tesla Model 3 (37 cars).
In February this year, 22 electric commercial vehicles were registered in Ukraine (45% less than in February 2020), including 21 Renault Kangoo Z.E.s.
Some 1,034 electric vehicles were registered in Ukraine in the first two months of this year, or 20.5% less than in the same period of 2020. The share of used electric vehicles was 90% against 95% in 2020.
Some 7,455 electric vehicles were registered in Ukraine in 2020, which was 1% less than in 2019.
