Ukraine seeks to cooperate with Germany to increase tourist flows between the two countries.

Head of the State Agency for Tourism Development Maryana Oleskiv wrote about this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to her, Ukraine is interested in adopting the experience and implementing joint marketing activities, participating in international tourism exhibitions, marketing research, and opinion polls. This will allow Ukraine to create tourist products that could interest German tourists. In particular, the presentation of the national stand at the world's travel trade fair ITB Berlin (Berlin) at a high level is of current interest for Ukraine.

"The development of cooperation between Ukraine and Germany in the tourism industry, in particular adopting the experience of a European partner, is important for bringing the Ukrainian hospitality industry to a qualitatively new level," Oleskiv stressed.

She reminded that the development of tourism as one of the promising sectors of the economy is one of the priority goals of the Ukrainian government.

Therefore, Ukraine relies on tourism marketing, attracting domestic and foreign investment in the development of tourism infrastructure, creating conditions for safe and comfortable travel of tourists from the EU in line with international standards.

Oleskiv stressed that educational programs and exchange programs for representatives of small and medium-sized tourism businesses and civil servants, such as the Fit for Partnership with Germany of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany, are of special interest to Ukraine.
