OTP Bank joins NBU BankID system

“OTP Bank has joined the BankID of the NBU and its customers will be able to get the remote access to financial, administrative and commercial services through the BankID remote identification system of the NBU," the NBU’s press service wrote on Facebook.

The following banks are now participants of the BankID system: Forward Bank, Pivdennyi Bank, First Ukrainian International Bank, Monobank (Universal Bank), Oschadbank, Kredobank, Radabank, Motor-Bank, Vostok Bank, Idea Bank, Alliance Bank, A-Bank, Alfa-Bank Ukraine, PrivatBank, and OTP Bank.

The system also includes 23 non-bank institutions (service portals).

As Ukrinform reported, the National Bank launched the BankID project in 2015. The NBU owns the system and regulates the relations between participants of the system. Ukrainian banks, government agencies and commercial enterprise can connect to the NBU BankID system free of charge.
