All alcohol and tobacco products grow in price in Ukraine

Prices for beer, wine, vodka and cigarettes in Ukraine rose from March 2019 to March 2020, according to the State Statistics Service.
Over the reporting period, the average price of domestic beer grew by 9.7% (up to UAH 17.38 per 0.5 liter); table wine - by 4.1% (up UAH to 66.94 per 0.75 liter); vodka - by 1.1% (up to UAH 92.25 per 0.5 liter).
Prices for tobacco products grew more significantly over the reporting period. The average price of a pack of Ukrainian filtered cigarettes in March 2020 made up UAH 37.74 (20 cigarettes), which is 25.0% more expensive than a year earlier, while the average price of a pack of unfiltered cigarettes totaled UAH 34.05 (up 29.7%).
As Ukrinform reported, consumer prices in Ukraine in March 2020 rose by 0.8% compared to February 2020, by 0.7% since the beginning of the year, and by 2.3% against March 2019.
