Ukraine’s real GDP grows by 0.1 percent

According to an operational assessment, Ukraine’s real GDP grew by 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2019, up by 1.5% compared to the fourth quarter of 2018.

"The real GDP in the fourth quarter of 2019 increased by 0.1% compared to the previous quarter (taking into account the seasonal factor), and increased by 1.5% compared to the fourth quarter of 2018," the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reports.

According to December data of the State Statistics Service, Ukraine’s real GDP in the third quarter of 2019 increased by 4.1% compared to the same period in 2018 (preliminary data showed a GDP growth of 4.2%).

In the second quarter of 2019, Ukraine's GDP grew by 4.6% compared to the same period of 2018, the growth in the first quarter was 2.5%.
