Ukraine, Azerbaijan to study possible expansion of Southern Gas Corridor – Zelensky

Ukraine supports the Southern Gas Corridor and together with Azerbaijan it will study the issue of its possible expansion.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on Twitter following a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“Ukraine supports the Southern Gas Corridor. We have agreed to study how it could be expanded. This is important for the diversification of gas supply to European consumers,” Zelensky wrote.
He also stressed that the unique transit potential of Ukraine and Azerbaijan should be used and the infrastructure should be developed for this purpose.
As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky is on an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 16-17.
