16 regional customs offices to be created in Ukraine – government’s resolution

This is stipulated the government’s resolution as of October 2, 2019, No.858, on establishing territorial agencies of the State Customs Service, which is posted on the Government portal.

"Sixteen customs and two specialized bodies (Specialized Laboratory for Expertise and Research, Department of Service Dog Training) will be created by reducing and reorganizing the territorial bodies of the State Fiscal Service," the government’s secretariat noted.

The reform is aimed at optimizing the regular number of customs, reappointing additional staff to strengthen the functional units that directly carry out customs control and customs clearance of goods and vehicles. Territorial bodies of the State Fiscal Service will be reorganized by joining them to the relevant territorial bodies of the State Customs Service
