Deposit Guarantee Fund completes payments to depositors of PromEconomBank

The Deposit Guarantee Fund has completed payments to the depositors of PJSC CB PromEconomBank, according to the Fund’s press service.

"On September 19, 2019, the Deposit Guarantee Fund submitted documents for the liquidation of PJSC CB PromEconomBank to the state registrar of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and public organizations to record the termination of the bank as a legal entity in the United State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations,” reads the report.

Thus, according to Part 7 of Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals”, the Deposit Guarantee Fund completes payments of guaranteed deposit refunds on the day of submission of documents to the United State Register regarding the liquidation of the bank as a legal entity..

As Ukrinform reported, the National Bank of Ukraine on September 5, 2014 decided to revoke a banking license and liquidate PromEconomBank.
