Ukraine’s grain exports exceed 10 million tonnes

Since the beginning of the 2019/2020 marketing year (MY), Ukraine has exported more than 10 million tonnes of grain crops, which is 47% more than in the same period of the last MY.

This was reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

"Since the beginning of the current marketing year, which started on July 1, Ukraine has exported more than 10 million tonnes of grain crops. In particular, Ukraine exported 6.1 million tonnes of wheat (including about 4.3 million tonnes of milling wheat and over 1.8 million tonnes of fodder wheat), about 2.2 million tonnes of barley and 1.7 million tonnes of corn," the report reads.

During the same period of the last marketing year, Ukraine exported 6.8 million million tonnes of grain, in particular 3.7 million tonnes of wheat, 1.6 million tonnes of barley and 1.3 million tonnes of corn.

In addition, 1.8 million tonnes of oilseeds have been exported since the start of the current MY. Over the same period of the last marketing year, Ukraine exported 1.2 million tonnes of oilseeds.
