Gas volumes in Ukraine’s underground storage facilities exceed 18 bcm

Gas volumes in Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities exceeded 18 billion cubic meters as of August 29, the press service of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC has reported.

"The volume of gas in underground gas storage facilities exceeded 18 billion cubic meters," the company reports on Facebook.

As of 06:00 am, August 29, Ukraine accumulated18.025 billion cubic meters of gas in its underground gas storage facilities.

The press service recalled that Ukraine needed to accumulate about 20 billion cubic meters of gas to ensure the stable heating season of 2019-2020.

"There is enough time to accumulate the planned 20 billion cubic meters of gas. We continue to pump gas intensively," Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC summed up.
