Ukraine’s rapeseed oil exports may hit record in current marketing year

The indicators of the rapeseed oil for the first two months of the new export season reached the record levels due to a corresponding increase in the rapeseed processing inside the country. In July-August, Ukraine exported 43,000 tons of rapeseed oil.
“In July-August of 2018-2019 MY, Ukraine supplied about 43,000 tons of rapeseed oil to foreign markets, having almost doubled the exports for the same period last year,” the UkrAgroConsult consulting agency reports.
The agency expects Ukraine to hit the record of rapeseed oil exports by the end of 2018-2019 marketing year.
The European Union remains the main importer of Ukrainian rapeseed oil, accounting for 79% of all exports.
