Passenger traffic at Chernivtsi airport grows by almost 70%

April 2018, the passenger traffic at the Chernivtsi airport in southwestern Ukraine grew by almost 70% compared to April last year.
“The passenger traffic at the Chernivtsi International Airport in April 2018 increased by 69 percent compared to April 2017. Last month, 5,593 people used its services against 3,306 people in April last year," the press service of the Chernivtsi City Council reports.
In particular, it is noted that a significant increase in passenger traffic was recorded on the international flights (137 passengers in April 2017 against 1,519 passengers in April 2018).
