Significant gold deposits found in Ukraine

Several gold deposits have been found in Zakarpattia region in western Ukraine.
This is reported by the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine.
"A significant result was obtained from the evaluation of the occurrences of gold in Rakhiv district of Zakarpattia region. On the basis of previously conducted drilling, mining and laboratory works, the Rakhiv geological prospecting unit of the Lviv geological survey expedition estimated the predicted gold resources of the ore bodies of the Belopotoksky ore occurrences in the amount of 2.4 tons. These results confirm the viability of further geological exploration of the ore occurrences of the Rakhiv ore district, which are aimed at preparing facilities to attract investment and start explore them as gold deposits," reads the press release.
