International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development to be held in Ukraine in 2018

The relevant decision was approved at a government meeting on December 13, the government’ press service reports.

“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has created an organizing committee on preparations and holding of the 9th International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development in the autumn of 2018. The forum will be held under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe,” reads a report.

International forums on energy for sustainable development are annual events that have been organized by five UN Regional Commissions since 2010.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion will head the organizing committee for the preparations and holding of the 9th International Forums on energy for sustainable development.
