Top ten cars on Ukrainian market

Over 43,000 new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine in January-July 2017, which is almost a third more than in the same period last year, the Ukrautoprom Association has reported.

"A total of 43,384 new passenger cars were sold and registered in Ukraine from January to July this year, which is almost a third more than in the same period last year," the report says.

Ukrainians bought most cars in March - over 7,000. The result in July (6,425 cars) was only fifth in seven months. According to the association, there was a positive dynamics in the first seven months of 2017 compare to 2016, with maximum growth recorded in January (51%) and minimum growth in April (15%).

South Korea's KIA Sportage (2,225 cars sold) had the largest demand over the period, with its share on the market of new passenger cars exceeding 5%.

The top five cars also include Renault Logan (1,668 cars), Skoda Octavia (1,430), Renault Duster (1,367), and Toyota RAV4 (1,245).

Ten most popular cars from January to July 2017 include Toyota Corolla (1,086), Hyundai Tucson (1,006), Nissan Qashqai (909), Volkswagen Tiguan (866), and Ford Fiesta (859).
