World Bank slams Ukrainian pension system

The World Bank believes that the Ukrainian pension system is one of the main factors in the economic vulnerability.
This was stated by World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Qimiao Fan during the presentation of a new economic review and macroeconomic forecast for Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The national pension system is one of the main factors causing the fiscal vulnerability. For example, in 2015, the pension system cost 13.4% of GDP," Qimiao Fan said.
