Ukraine gets reduced rates for freight shipments by Trans-Caspian transport route

Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have signed the protocol on setting competitive, reduced rates for freight shipments by the Trans-Caspian international transport route bypassing Russia.

This is reported by Trend Azerbaijani news agency.

"Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have signed the protocol on setting competitive, reduced rates for freight shipments by the Trans-Caspian international transport route," reads the statement.

The protocol was signed by acting Chairman of OJSC Ukrainian Railways Oleksandr Zavhorodniy,Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways' Board Javid Gurbanov, Chairman and President of JSC National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Askar Mamin, CEO of JSC Georgian Railway Mamuka Bakhtadze in Baku on Thursday.
