Ukraine reduces exports to Russia almost three-fold

In 2014-2015, the dependence of the Ukrainian producers on the Russian market has decreased from 35% in 2013 to 12.5% ​​in 2015.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said this at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We have significantly reduced the dependence of the Ukrainian producers on the Russian market... Two years ago, the exports to Russia amounted to about 35%, today they equal 12.5%," Yatsenyuk said.

According to him, Russian is daily making efforts to further restrict the Ukrainian export. "By doing this, it violates the unilateral and multilateral agreements between Ukraine and Russia," the Prime Minister said.
