Turkey to provide more than $3 mln to Ukrainian army – Ambassador

Turkey will provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with USD 3.1 million aid in 2017.

This has been reported by Ukraine's Ambassador to Turkey Andriy Sybiha on Twitter.

"A wonderful end of the year, we signed an agreement with the Republic of Turkey. The Ukrainian army will receive USD 3.1 million in 2017. The strategic partnership is under way," the ambassador said.

Earlier, NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov said that Turkey was interested in developing cooperation with Ukraine in the field of defense industry.
