As the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports, the defense ministers discussed the urgent issues of bilateral cooperation as regards training of Ukrainian military personnel, in particular, training of land and sea mine clearance specialists; basic combined military training of mechanized units of the Land Forces and the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The parties exchanged views on expectations from the Copenhagen Conference which will be held tomorrow, August 11.
At the end of the meeting, Reznikov awarded Bødskov the medal of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "For Assistance to Armed Forces of Ukraine".
On August 11, the Conference for Northern European Defense Allies in support of Ukraine at the level of defense ministers will be held in Copenhagen at the invitation of the Danish side. The participation of defense ministers and their representatives from the following countries is expected: the United Kingdom, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, the USA, Finland, the Czech Republic, Sweden. Australia, Canada, and New Zealand will join the meeting via VTC.
The Conference will be continuation and expansion of the Ramstein format for security assistance to Ukraine.
