Russian occupation forces used a drone to drop a VOG explosive on the Hnutovo crossing checkpoint in Donetsk region.

This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation on Wednesday, February 2, as seen by Ukrinform.

Today, at about 8:30 Kyiv time, Russian occupation forces fired on the Hnutovo entry-exit checkpoint in Donetsk region. The enemy used an unmanned aerial vehicle to drop a VOG shot onto a humanitarian corridor passing through the checkpoint,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the UAV attack has brought no casualties.

At the same time, one of the soldiers serving at the checkpoint avoided being wounded as a shrapnel piece was stopped by a metal tag.

According to the JFO press service, such criminal actions of the Russian occupation forces once again confirm that the enemy is deliberately violating the ceasefire and openly disregarding the requirements of international humanitarian law applied in conflict.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, over the past 24 hours, on February 1, the Russian occupation forces committed two ceasefire violations.
