Poland has been and remains Ukraine's most loyal friend in countering hybrid Russian aggression, so it is important to maintain unity and enrich the allied potential in the defense sphere of the two countries.

"Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland Paweł Soloch made an important statement that NATO should help Ukraine and Georgia strengthen their resilience in the face of threats posed by Russia. I support Paweł Soloch's opinion on the importance of maintaining unity and enriching the allied potential in the defense sphere. These words are another confirmation of Poland’s consistent support for our European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. NATO member states and their partners can resist a common enemy only with joint efforts," Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov posted on Facebook.

He underscored the importance of continuing successful cooperation despite the coronavirus pandemic and assured that he maintained constant contact with his Polish counterpart.

"Paweł Soloch and I are constantly in touch, discussing current security challenges. I think that a significant contribution to strengthening the security of the Euro-Atlantic area will be the intensification of cooperation between our agencies in a new format such as the Lublin Triangle," the NSDC Secretary said, adding that Poland proves to be a reliable partner in difficult times and Ukraine appreciates it.

November 19, as part of the Road to Warsaw Security Forum online conference, Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland Paweł Soloch said that NATO should help Ukraine and Georgia strengthen its potential to deter Russia.
