Between October 5 and October 18, Russian occupying forces committed 46 ceasefire violations in Donbas.

Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to International Organizations in Vienna Ihor Lossovsky said this at a meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation in Vienna on Wednesday, October 21, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"From October 5 to October 18, the armed formations of the Russian Federation continued to commit armed provocations and other violations of the TCG agreement reached on July 22. Some 46 ceasefire violations were recorded on their part," he said.

According to the diplomat, the invaders opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from various types of grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. In addition, on October 8, they used a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher to place POM-2 mines near Opytne (12km north-west of Donetsk).

In addition, Lossovsky pointed out that the Russian armed formations used UAVs near Pyshchevyk, Vodiane and Shyrokyne in order to cross the contact line, which is also prohibited by the Minsk agreements.

"The Russian Federation continued to illegally supply its occupation troops in Donbas with weapons, ammunition and manpower, violating the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. These illegal supplies were carried out through the non-government-controlled border between Russian and Ukraine in the temporarily occupied areas of Donbas, where there are no border crossing points," he added.
