Ukrainian troops come under mortar fire near Orikhove and Krasnohorivka

Since the beginning of the day, Russian-led forces have opened fire at the positions of the Joint Forces near Orikhove, Krasnohorivka, and Marinka in Donbas.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Maksym Prauta said this at a briefing on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"At 09:00, the invaders began to fire mounted antitank grenade launchers and 120mm mines at the Ukrainian positions near Orikhove (57km north-west of Luhansk). The shelling lasted for 35 minutes. Three mines of the same caliber exploded near the positions of the Joint Forces outside Krasnohorivka (21km west of Donetsk),” the spokesman said.

Also, the enemy used mounted and hand-held antitank grenade launchers and small arms to shell the positions of the Joint Forces outside Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk).

According to available information, as a result of the enemy shelling, no casualties have been reported.
