Baker Tilly Ukraine to conduct financial audit of Ukroboronprom

"International audit company Baker Tilly Ukraine has won an auction to conduct an audit of the consolidated statements of the Ukroboronprom State Concern," the statement said.

It also notes that two bidders belonging to the six largest world-class audit companies, namely Ernst & Young and Baker Tilly Ukraine, were admitted to the auction through the ProZorro public e-procurement system. Both leading international consulting companies have an effective track record of auditing businesses in the defense industry.

"This will be the first consolidated audit of the concern in its entire history. Prior to that, international audits were carried out only in individual companies - members of the concern. In particular, Baker Tilly Ukraine has already conducted an independent financial audit of Ukrspecexport, a state company for the export and import of military and special-purpose products and services, which is the largest Ukrainian arms exporter and part of the Ukroboronprom State Concern," the statement said.

The auction for the selection of a company to carry out a comprehensive financial audit of Ukroboronprom and its enterprises was held on September 5, 2019, on the ProZorro public e-procurement system.
