JFO commander calls on OSCE to strengthen its mission in occupied Donbas
"Today, on May 23, in the city of Kramatorsk, a working meeting was held between Joint Forces Commander Lieutenant-General Oleksandr Syrsky and representatives of the participating states of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. During the meeting Lieutenant-General Syrsky acquainted foreign guests with the situation and the current operational situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation," the report reads.
It notes that Syrsky spoke about ceasefire violations by the Russian occupation troops, the shelling of populated localities, and the creation of obstacles to OSCE patrols by representatives of the Russian armed groups.
He also demonstrated evidence of the presence of Russian occupation troops on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as samples of Russian weapons found on Ukrainian territory.
