Ukrainian troops came under mortar fire in Donbas in past day

”The enemy used tanks, artillery systems and mortars, firing 108 shells and 125mm, 122mm, 120mm and 82mm mines at the Joint Forces units. In addition, the Russian occupation forces also used anti-tank missile systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian troops,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, invaders used tanks, 122mm artillery systems, 120mm mortars and anti-tank missile systems to shell Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol), 120mm mortars – outside Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk), 122mm artillery systems – outside Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), and 82mm mortars and heavy machine guns – near Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy fired 120mm mortars on Ukrainian defenders near Zaitseve (50km north-east of Donetsk), 122mm artillery systems – outside Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk), 82mm mortars – outside Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk), small arms – in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk). 

One Ukrainian serviceman was killed in shelling in last day.

According to the intelligence, four invaders were killed and one more was wounded on March 4.

Today, the enemy has already opened fire from 82mm mortars near Krymske. No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported.

Ukrainian servicemen continue to control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire agreements.
