Militants launched 21 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 21 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements five times, on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“Russian-occupation troops fired on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

The enemy used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian troops. The JFO positions near Krymske came under 120mm mortar fire, while the strongholds outside Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Hnutove and Lebedynske came under 82mm mortar fire. In addition, invaders shelled the defenders of Krymske, using weapons on infantry combat vehicles.

No casualties among Ukrainian military personnel were reported in last day.

 According to the intelligence, two militants were killed and two more were wounded in last day.

Today, Russian-occupation troops have already launched two attacks on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane, using heavy machine guns and small arms.
