Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 21 times in last day
“Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 21 times, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.
In Luhansk direction, the enemy fired automatic grenade launchers and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Prychepylivka (50km north-west of Luhansk).
Militants also opened fire from small arms on Ukrainian troops outside Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk). The enemy also fired on new positions occupied by the units of the Joint Forces in the eastern outskirts of Zolote-4. After receiving an adequate response, the shelling was stopped.
Ukrainian positions in the area of Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk) came under fire of large-caliber machine guns and small arms. As a result of enemy fire, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded.
In Donetsk direction, terrorists fired anti-tank grenade launchers at Ukrainian positions near Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk).
In Mariupol direction, the tense situation was observed in the area of Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol) and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), where the enemy tried to make Ukrainian defenders open fire by launching provocative attacks from heavy machine guns and small arms.
