Three civilians killed in Donbas for two weeks – OSCE

The OSCE SMM recorded an increase in the ceasefire violations. Three civilians were killed and two were injured because of armed violence.

This is stated in the report of the OSCE observers as of January 25, 2018.

"During the period from January 8 to January 21, 2018, the OSCE SMM recorded about 13,000 violations of the ceasefire, which is 55% more than for the prior two-week reporting period. During this period, the armed violence led to several civilian casualties: three people were killed and two were injured," the OSCE report says.

According to the OSCE, the majority of the ceasefire violations was recorded around the Avdiivka-Yasynuvata-Donetsk airport area, the areas east and north-east of Mariupol and the area south-west and south of Svitlodarsk.
