Microsoft Ukraine to train IT specialists of Defense Ministry

The Defense Ministry and Microsoft Ukraine LLC have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, the ministry's press service reports.
The subject of the Memorandum is cooperation in the implementation of modern information technologies in the defense sector taking into account the NATO standards and approaches.
“According to the Defense Ministry's IT Department, the cooperation involves application of the existing experience of Microsoft's cooperation with the armed forces of the NATO member states, European Union and United States to build a protected IT infrastructure of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, introduce defense information systems and ensure the needed level of their reliability, as well as support in training of IT specialists of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry," reads a report.
