Ukrainian BTR-4E armoured personnel carrier to be exhibited in Bangkok

"New design bureaus have recently opened in Ukraine and have been already working. The country is ready to present the new BTR-4E armoured personnel carrier, which was improved based on test results, at the international exhibition," Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak wrote on Facebook.

The minister noted he would meet in Bangkok with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Thailand General Prawit Wongsuwon and Commander of the Royal Thai Defence Forces General Thanchaiyan Srisuwan. "I informed my Thai colleague about the security situation in Ukraine and the ongoing reforms in the Ukrainian army and the military-industrial complex. I also invited my Thai colleague to visit Ukraine and see for himself the changes taking place in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We are willing to cooperate in the military-industrial field and other issues of bilateral activity," the minister wrote.
